Project of the week 12/17

My youngest wanted an Angry Birds hat, not just any angry bird, the black on because it's his favorite since it blows up.  This one provided to be a challenge for me!  I came up with my own pattern for it and if there is enough demand for it I will see about getting it typed up and published.

He was so excited that I had it done when he got up that he wouldn't take it off!

He had to wear it when we went out to my parents house and he helped feed "Grandpa's Birds".  I think he fit right in with them

Ribbed Neck Warmer Pattern

I absolutely love this neck warmer.  It wasn't what I started out making, but I love how it turned out!

I started out making a cowl, but decided that I wanted something with buttons to wear with a couple of different outfits.

The great thing about this is that it comes together really quick if you are still trying to figure out a couple of last minute Christmas presents for the trendy person in your life

The picture really doesn't do it justice because there are ribs in the pattern

Enjoy everyone!

Been so busy!

I have been so busy with orders and trying to get everything done for the Holidays!  I'm sure that everyone else is too, but I did have time to make up a neck warmer that I'm sure you all are going to love.  I'm going to be posting it as a free pattern for a gift to all of my readers.  I'm hoping to have it up tomorrow morning, I just got done taking the pictures and will be uploading them when I get off of work.

Puppy Dog Earflap Hat

It's the time of year that the leaves have changed, the winds are picking up, and my kids are wanting different hats to wear to school.   This year I think was the first year that they almost trumped me.  Key word there being almost.

Kynzie decided that she wanted a puppy dog hat, not thinking I said ok, and started down a long road of figuring out the perfect puppy dog hat.  I came up with this pattern, and you can now find it for sale on ravelry.com (Puppy Dog Hat by Stylish Knots) I would love to see anything you make with this pattern!  Also if there are any problems that you find, please email me at stylishknots@gmail.com
